Employee professional development is the process during which employees, with the support of their employer, go through professional training to improve their skills and grow their knowledge (Heinz, 2021). Ensuring that employees are trained properly impacts the organization reputation which can potentially influence their profitability. Organizational change are changes that an organization make to improvements, increase productivity, etc. and organizational goals are those that the organization set to complete their mission. These three factors all influence each other. Every organization has a mission and from that mission they develop business plans to include operations, training and logistics. Over time the organization will figure out what works for them and what doesnt and from that they will implement organizational changes. From those changes they will need to also ensure that their employees are being trained to facilitate or implement any changes which is why its important for organizations to continue to train employees. All of these put together help an organization be successful and able to compete with other businesses. A modern example that many people are familiar with is Facebook. Before Facebook was successful there was Myspace however Facebook recognized areas of improvement and how they could expand and change social media. They took those ideas and created a different type of social media and since then they have continued to improve and expand making them extremely successful and one of the leading companies for social media.
