Employees within an organization can have their performance deteriorate for a number of reasons and sometimes they are due to internal/external factors such as harassment in the workplace, a traumatic event, taking care of an elderly person at home, etc. The employees who are experiencing events and/or factors that are affecting their mental health may have their performance deteriorate due to the stressors and/or the employee may display behaviors that under normal circumstances they wouldn't display. How can you provide a quick assessment for the leadership/management to determine the level of support/interventions to offer? In my experience, I find that management/leadership has a bit of a hard time determining how and when to intervene with an employee, and the support to offer an employee. 1. Develop an outline of how you would do the needs assessment. 2. What are the steps you would take to complete the assessment for the training topic of choice? 3. State how you would implement the needs assessment with the intended target audience for the training. 4. Design an outline of your training program. 5. why you are preparing this training, why it is important and how the needs assessment, and training program you have created will be helpful.
