End/Beginning

Clause + Repeating Element. Repeating Element + Clause. This form of sentence variation works between two sentences. The End/ Beginning structure repeats the end of one sentence (however many words you want to repeat) in the start of the next sentence:

a) What you have described is life. Life is tough.

b) Markevitch wanted Smith to reveal the evidence. Reveal the evidence Smith did.

c) Robinson turned on the electricity and his invention hummed. His invention hummed and changed his life forever.

Whats most valuable about the End/Beginning Repeat construction is that it creates coherenceit links one sentence meaningfully to the next. The structure tells the reader to consider these two sentences together
