ENG 102 Annotated Bibliography Assignment Purpose and Focus: = The purpose of the annotated bibliography is to find research that supports your argument and find answers to your overall questions. You do this by gathering reliable, relevant, current sources, and you will write a reference, summarize, and evaluate those sources in your annotated bibliography. The research should focus on Writing Assignment #2, which will require you to write an argumentative essay of at least 1500 words on a social justice topic. You will also include an opposing viewpoint and rebuttal, but for now only find research that supports your side of the argument. This is not a pro/con essay. You should have a basic thesis developed by now and research guestions. Support your thesis and try to find answers to your research questions you developed. Requirements: Number of sources: Complete a 10-source annotated bibliography of works that you believe that you will use for your research project. An annotated bibliography is basically a references page that includes annotations--comments-about each source. You will write a 150-200 complete paragraph for each source.
