Question: : - Engine oil at ( 3 0 8 K ) flows over a flat plate at ( 6 c m s e c )

:- Engine oil at (308 K ) flows over a flat plate at (6cmsec). The plate long is ) and
heated uniformly over its length and maintained at a surface temperature of (85C)
Evaluate the following :-
1- Hydrodynamic and thermal boundary layer thicknesses at the trailing edge of the plate.
2- Total drag force per unit width on one side of the plate.
3- Local heat transfer coefficient at the end of the plate.
4- Total heat transferred from the surface per unit width.
5- Estimate the heat loss from (3 m ) length of the plate measured from its trailing edge.
Note For laminar flow assume the velocity profile is uU=32(y)-12(y)3
For turbulent flow assume the velocity profile is uUs=(y)7
