${12}^{\text{'}}-0{12}^{\text{'}}-0{12}^{\text{'}}-0$ Cube House

The world is changing fast and space to build homes is at a premium. Large areas are not available to build luxury homes, therefore homes are being built on less ground space. As Engineers your job is to design a house that will fit into a $12\text{'}-0$ square plot of ground. The walls shall be $6^{\text{'}\text{'}}$ thick, leaving ${11}^{\text{'}}-0$ as the workable space for your house. You are not allowed to have projections that stick out away from the ${12}^{\text{'}}{12}^{\text{'}}$ square house except for the front door. This house is designed for the bachelor or the bachelorette. No basements allowed!!!!!

This drawing is to be presented on engineering paper ${11}^{\text{'}\text{'}}{17}^{\text{'}\text{'}}.$ The scale should be $\frac{1^{"}}{2}=1^{\text{'}}-0.$ You must label everything that you draw on the drawing. All lettering should be done in capital letters. A report shall be submitted to explain in more detail your ideas. Drawings should be neat, clean and readable. Use Auto Cad to draw and label your drawing. Must have a floor plan for every level.

The house should include at a minimum:

Table

Stove

Counter space

Refrigerator

Microwave

Sink

Laundry space

TV space

Bed $($Bunk style, trundle, Bench, hammock, murphy$)$

Closets for cloths and shoes

Tub or shower

Toilet

Sink

Storage space $($you can never have enough$)$

Doors $($sliding or pocket doors$)$ or $($conventional swinging doors$)$ there is no requirement that says you have to have doors on the inside, that is$,$ the closets and cabinets etc.

Stairs as required $($To reach higher places$)$

Ladders as required

Insulation
