Unsymmetrical Bending of Beams $-$ Section Properties

A $506010mm$ thick unequal angle section is to be used as a simply$-$supported beam, having the longer flange $($web$)$ being vertically downwards as shown in the figure.

Determine:

i$)$ the position of the centroid G;

ii$)$ the second moments of area about the centroidal axes $x-x$ and $y-y$;

iii$)$ the product second moment of area about the centroidal axis;

iv$)$ the angle of inclination of the principal axis;

v$)$ the second moments of area about the principal axes;

vi$)$ the second moments of area about the principal axes by drawing a Mohr circle.
