The objective of the Budget Project is to build a comprehensive budget report from the ground up$.$ DO NOT

actually start a business, apply for a business name, or tax numbers, or apply for a business loan. However,

assume the audience for this report is a lending group looking to provide you financing.

You are required to submit a Budget Charter $($see Moodle$).$ This Charter will indicate your group members, how

you intend to work together, resolve issues and it will serve as your project plan.

Note $$ this is a group project with a maximum of $4$ individuals per group.

You are required to prepare a Master Budget for a start$-$up business, specifically a CHILDREN$$S GYM,

offering children physical activity services and products. You must offer a minimum of $3$ products. This is a brand

new business with a physical location. As an example $$My Gym$[$mygym$.$com$]$ a franchise company which

according to their website $$was born out of a passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging

environment,$$ Or$,$Fun Circle$[$funcircle$.$ca$]$ Indoor playground and party place. Another example would be

$$Circus Play Caf$[$circusplaycafe$.$com$]$ which offers a safe play space for kids and a caf$$ for all. You are

welcome to be creative in terms of theme, niche, products, location, and services. You can further develop your

business idea to be as unique or standard as meets the needs of your target market. Requirements:

A$.$ Must sell a minimum of $3$ unique product types and must have inventory

B$.$ Must offer a minimum of $2$ services.

C$.$ Must have a physical location, kiosks are not allowed.

D$.$ Must obtain a business loan from a bank or credit union.

E$.$ No Franchises. We want you to design a start up$.$

F$.$ You must have at least one employee other than your group members.

G$.$ You are a merchandizer not a manufacturer.

Businesses must be located in Greater Vancouver $($From West Vancouver, to US Border, to Abbotsford$).$ Beyond

these parameters requires special permission.
