For this final project, you will be putting all of your entrepreneurial thinking into action. By now, you have gotten some experience with going out into the world and sharing your solutions for problems, but you will now need to put some of your thinking into real action. The goal of this project is to share your mindset, from start to finish, and discuss how it has influenced your action. Below is a detailed list of what you need to include to fully show these items.

The final is a written report, and in total, should be 1000 1200 words in length.

  • Written Final Report = 100 points (DUE 8/19)

Below are the items you need to include in your report:

  1. Define your problem. This section should be 4-6 sentences in length.
    1. Explain why this problem in detail and why it is one that is worth solving
    2. Who are the types of people who have this problem?
    3. Does this problem present an opportunity?
  2. What is your solution to the problem? This section should be 4-6 sentences in length.
    1. What is the current solution for this problem?
    2. Did your solution change after asking potential customers?
    3. Did you receive additional feedback from other that made modifications to your solution?
    4. Were you able to connect with someone who is trying to solve this same problem?
      1. Did you feel the need to connect/network? Partner? Compete? Explain why or why not?
  3. What will you get out of solving this problem? This section should be 3-5 sentences in length.
    1. If it is money, how would you use it and how much would you charge?
    2. If it is an education, what is the purpose of the education?
    3. If it is some other value, what is it, and why is it important to solve?
  4. Describe your strengths and weaknesses in carrying out your solution for your problem. This section should be 4-6 sentences in length.
    1. What makes you the right person for solving this problem? Personality? Viewpoint? Capital? Connections

  6. What are the exact steps you need to take to take your solution from start to completed/operational? This section should be 10-12 sentences in length.
    1. This is your action plan. List, step-by-step, your next 8 action steps in completing moving towards your solution. (Keep in mind that most solution would require more like 20-30 steps to get where youre going). Be as detailed as possible on this. Detail the people you need to talk to, how you will get in touch with them, how long it will take to complete each step and whether or not you can complete each step alone.
    2. You will need to complete at least 3 steps in your action plan before the end of this quarter. Report on your progress. Challenges? Surprises? Triumphs?
  7. How will people know your solution exists? This section should be 4-6 sentences in length.
    1. Think of this as your marketing/branding plan.

    3. Why is it important to tell people about your solution?
