This assignment is an individual research assignment.

One of the key concepts in environmental citizenship is the idea that we are all interconnected in a single global system - connected to each other and to our surroundings (the air, water, land, plants and animals around us). When something occurs or changes in one part of the system, it has repercussions elsewhere in the system, either as a major precipitating incident or as a trickle-down type effect.
