ePortfolio Assignment

The portfolio is an ongoing project that will span through all your internships at Baker College. It is meant to showcase your experiences, skills, learning, and growth as an Information Technology student which should enhance your chances of gaining entrance into graduate school or securing meaningful employment in this field. This can be completed in a program such as Weebly, Wix, or Google Sites that are free electronic portfolios. If you feel that is the best to create your portfolio in a binder and print the sections, you can do that too.

The contents that are required for this assignment include the following: $($you may include any additional materials that you feel are appropriate$)$

The title page, cover letter and resume should be written as if you were actually applying for a position at your current internship. Your instructor will be reading and evaluating your portfolio as if he or she was the director at your internship agency and considering you for a possible position. Before you hand in your portfolio, ask yourself if the portfolio sufficiently represents what you want to convey to a prospective employer. Are all the $$mechanics$($spelling$,$ grammar, sentence structure, etc.$)$ in order? Does your cover letter, resume, personal statement, and appendix documents showcase the skills and experiences you have that best fit the job you are applying for?
