Malum in se v. Malum prohibitum (Latin terms).

1. Malum in se.Malum= bad or wrong doing;in se= in itself.

1.  Malum in prohibitum. Malum= bad or wrong doing; prohibitum= wrong because of statute.

1. So, you have acts which are wrong, in and of themselves, wherein there is no law prohibiting said acts. Therefore, only A of the above.

1. You have acts which are morally wrong, in and of themselves, and there is an actual laws which forbids said acts. Therefore, A and B above.

1. You have acts which the law forbids, which are not in and of themselves morally wrong. Therefore, only B.

1. You have laws B possibly immoral A in themselves (BA).
