Even post-apocalyptic America needs databases. MCW, Inc. is a mutant cat market built up on the remains
of Amarillo, Texas. They sell these cats to the local barbarians. Track the barbarians with an ID number,
and get their name, location and purpose for buying one or more cats. The cats are tracked by their unique
DNA code and have a ferocity index, weight and top speed. The cats are expensive and sometimes end up
having multiple owners, so be sure to track how much each owner owns of a specific cat and the amount
paid by each owner for each cat. Not all cats are owned, of course, or MCW, Inc. would be out of business.
Mutant cats come in three types: undead, alive, and quantum. MCW never buys back cats that they have
sold. MCW does not track barbarians until they have bought a cat. Barbarians may own more than one
cat.
Cats that are in the possession of MCW, Inc. are kept happy with expensive quantum toys. Every cat gets
at least one toy but not more than two toys. Toys have a ToyID, name and durability rating. Each toy is
used by only one cat though new toys may not yet be associated with a cat.
Each barbarian belongs to one of the several area clans. Clans have a unique name, a primary tribal color
and a chosen deity. Some clans have faded into obscurity but are kept in the database even if they no
longer have any barbarians. Clans otherwise have multiple barbarians. In each clan, one barbarian serves
a chief (not all barbarians get to be chief). Every clan has a single chief.
These clans range out over one or more territories. MCW keeps data for all the territories even if they
havent been claimed by a clan. A territory cannot support more than one clan. Each territory is identified
by its latitude and its longitude (stored as separate values) and MCW tracks the farming potential, hunting
potential and water availability for each territory.
