Everett is a manager at a medium$-$sized manufacturing firm. He enjoys being a manager and likes his subordinates. He does have one problem: His subordinate Karen regularly interrupts him during meetings. At first, he asks her politely to let him finish. After thinking about the situation, however, he wonders if Karen derives some kind of reward from the attention of the other employees by interrupting.
