Every student is expected to make a $25-$minute

presentation during a meeting. There are two types of themes students can choose from.

Students may choose to present a topic that is strategy$-$related, informative, and interesting

$($at least to the presenter$)$ based on recent business news. Reputable newspapers $($such as

Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Financial Times$)$ and magazines $($Business Week,

Forbes, and Bloomberg BusinessWeek$)$ should be the major sources of information. Students

are encouraged to consult with the instructor about the topic and sources of information.

Students may also choose to make a presentation based on their industry experiences.

Industry$-$based presentations should analyze real$-$life strategic issues, provide interesting

insights, and make connections to our course. Students are encouraged to consult with the

instructor to decide a specific topic.

Your individual presentation should be able to make the following clear: First, how is your

topic related to our course?
