Examine developing forensic science capabilities.

Directions: Software exists for data preservation, duplication, verification, recovery and extraction, data analysis, and reporting. All of these tools help to enable the forensic scientists to do their job. Select one group of tools and research it. Find at least two examples of tools in that category and write a one to two page paper discussing the general category of tools that you selected. Explain how it works and what it does. Then, discuss the specific tools and explain how they enable the practitioner to accomplish the goals.
