When customers make a purchase, the company asks for their phone number, postal code, and

records the number of items purchased as well as the date of their last purchase. Each purchase is

also recorded including the date it was made and the employee who made the sale. Employee

data including badge number, start date, and title are stored in the system. When the purchase is

made, the items that were sold are deducted from the inventory in the system.
