Your executive summary should be organized in the following format:

Cover Pageo Put your Name, course, date, Instructoro Can include a photo and other creative elements (this is YOUR summary) Overviewo This overview provides some idea of what will be included in your summary. You can organize this as a table of contents or write it as an abstract that highlights, in brief, what the reader is about to view. Introduction (can include photos)o This is where you talk about youbring us the stats/facts. Some questions to consider/answer: Where are you from? Why did you choose Clemson? Did you transfer here? How has the Department of Communication impacted your understanding/enhanced your perspective of who you are and where you are going? What are some identities you hold that you have explored or that have shaped your experience? (ex. As a woman, a student-athlete, a comm major, etc.) Clemson University Experience (broadly). This sections you will begin to talk more about how you were, what you believed in, and what was important to you at each stage of your personal growth and development. You can include the events, people, activities, etc. that shaped this experience, paying special attention to your salient identity groups as well as your hidden identities:o Part 1: Prospective Student Experience (before you arrived at Clemson)o Part 2: Current Student Experienceo Part 3: Future Goals/Aspirations Profile Interviewif there is a person (or group of people) who have helped you along your journey, you can include the following. I recommend scheduling these interviews early and discuss with me (Dr. P) any questions you may have. If you include this section be sure that you:o (1) Describe your interviewee, include a picture, provide a bit of background about who they are and why you chose to interview them.o (2) Discuss the interviewwhat did you learn? What did they share? What insights did they provide? Final Thoughtso Conclude your thoughts broadly about your life, development, and goals. Think about who you want to be in the future and how your development thus far has helped you reach some goals and will you achieve others.o How have you recognized how your identities and beliefs shaped your outlook? How have they been shaped by your experience? Are there any new challenges, growth opportunities, or differences you recognize as you reflect on your undergraduate experience?
