EXERCISE 2: An interfacing card with a 12-bit digital-analogue (D/A) converter is used to control the speed of a 12 V dc . servomotor. The card is able to provide an output vollage of range -5 V to +5 V . The servomotor is driven by a molor diver with the gain of 2.4 and allows an input voltage of +1.5 V . The maximum speed of the motor shat is 3000 mpm and the motor rolates clockwise with a +ve input vollage. A gearbox ofratio 1:30 is attached to the motor shaft to modifies the output speed. The interfacing system uses two address registers to store the AD conversion as shown in Figure 6.12. Detemine the value of each bit of the address register to be written if a counter clockwise speed of 96 rpm is required at the gearbox's output shaft.
