Consider the Graduate Student Admission Process. Identify the steps in this process and classify them into VA$,$ BVA, and NVA. Briefly $($one sentence or a bullet point$)$ justify your classification of each step.

Be exhaustive, identify all waste in the process $($a waste type may occur multiple times in the process$)$ and briefly describe $($one sentence or a bullet point$)$ why you consider something waste.

Consider the Graduate Student Admission Process. Write an issue register based on the supplemental information for the process. Use the format of the book $($see Table $6\mathrm{.}2,$ pg$.231).$ Be sure to specify the qualitative and quantitative impact as far as you can with the supplemental information available. Make and clearly state assumptions if necessary.

Keep the following points in mind as you redesign the process:

Does the redesign create or solve ethical problems, e$.$g$.$ situations where the legal, moral, human rights of multiple stakeholders are affected or in conflict? Describe the situation and how you try to deal with it$.$

The university wants to expand overseas. It has already leased a buildings in Accra and Dhaka, and has also partnered with a private educational corporation in Cairo to deliver some of its programs in these locations.

Capture the resulting to$-$be model in BPMNUsing the information above, create a draft BPMN model of the as$-$is credit

application process. This draft will then be validated with the people that have been

interviewed before sign$-$off by the process owner. Make appropriate assumptions.
