Exercise on Logic Gates

For problems that involve circuit drawing, you can use the Simulator.io

website, or any other logic circuit building and simulating online

application. It is a great tool for digital simulation. If you want a digital

circuit software, you can download one for windows from here.

$1.$ Given inputs A $=1,$ B $=0,$ C $=1,$ evaluate the output Y for the logic

expression: Y $=$ A $*($B $+$ C$).$

$2.$ Construct a truth table for the expression Z $=($A AND B$)$ OR $($NOT C$).$

$3.$ Using logic gates, implement the expression F $=$ A $*($B $+$ C$)$ using

AND, OR$,$ and NOT gates. Draw the corresponding circuit diagram.

$4.$ Simplify the expression G $=$ A $*($A $+$ B$).$

$5.$ Construct a truth table for the XOR gate operation $($A XOR B$)$ and its

output Z$.$
