Exercise: Pick a system for which the purposes are reasonably clear. What tests would you, as a client, demand be passed for you to accept and pay for the system? What tests would you, as a builder, contract to pass in order to be paid? Whose word would each of you accept that the tests had or had not been passed? When should such questions be posed?
