Explain how corrections or judicial policy and/or practice could be modified to improve the outcomes/impacts of the topic, concept, or issue. This part of the reflection further depth of understanding in that it expressly invites higher order thinking (e.g., analysis, evaluation, and synthesis.). This part should do ____ things. First, consider, propose or imagine realistic change(s) in current precedent/judicial policy; prison policy and/or prison practices. Second, identify a position or role that would/could contribute to or participate in that change. The position ro role should be one with direct contact to incarcerated individuals or individuals under supervision. Third, explain or describe specific actions a person in that position/role could take to help the change happen. Fourth, hypothesize how that person would know their efforts are working on a small level. And, five, consider how that person might encourage others to join in the things that have been successful or take complementary action is other positions/roles.
