Writers receive ideas and are helped to realize that good writing communicates effectively with diverse readers. Reviewers, by the very nature of having to analyze and respond to written work, are helped to re-consider concepts and apply them to their own drafts. First attend to main concerns: thesis with an assertion about an issue .Then attend to secondary concerns: supporting ideas for topic sentences apply the strategies of logical argument; intended supporting details make sense logically .Make comments in spirit of helpfulness.
