Explaining what would you do in the following case:

You submitted a proposal to a client where you are planning to do observations of the behaviour of homeless people being served by your client's organization. Your client wants you to collect the names of the individuals you interact with and the locations; they also want to be able to see your notes and see exactly what you are observing, and the information that is shared with you. What are your thoughts about this request from your client? Is it ethical from your research perspective? What kind of conversation would you have with them and what would you tell them?
