Question: { f = N b o t - m g = m v 2 r N = m g + m v 2 r N

{f=Nbot-mg=mv2r
N=mg+mv2r
N=mg(1+v2gg)
Hoping someone can help this make sense to me lol.
In Physics right now we are doing Centripetal motion.
The Question is to find the normal force on a child sitting on the bottom a ferris wheel, if the wheel is
traveling at Constant motion. I understand the entire question, to find the Normal force up to:
N= mg + mv^2/r
But my prof continues to simplfy to
N=mg(1+ v^2/rg) and I dont know how to get there. If anyone can help thanks!
