Failure to complete the CITI training (with internet-based research module, if needed) for a human subjects design will result in a 10-point deduction from your proposal grade. Pilot Dataset For this assignment, you must also upload a "pilot" dataset that reflects the structure of what your final dataset will look like. Thinking about the structure of your data file now will help when you actually start collecting data. This dataset should contain only the 3 variables you are proposing to analyze, and what you must include for these variables depends on whether the data exists yet or not: 1. If you will be collecting your own data, the pilot dataset should include n=10 simulated observations (do not collect any real data yet). Imagine the range of values you expect to find for each variable and make up some realistic data. 2. If you will be analyzing data that already exists, the pilot dataset should include n=10 real observations. This pilot dataset will be a subset of the final dataset you turn in, and is meant to ensure the data is available and in a usable format.
