• Review the agency's most recent performance measurement report.
• Describe the top five items that are included as measurements in the report. For example, the performance measurement report for the City of Kirkland, includes the following performance measurements for: 1) Public Safety, 2) Balanced Transportation, 3) Economic Development, 4) Parks & Recreation, and 5) Environment. DO NOT USE THIS EXAMPLE.
• Select one of the measurement items, and describe what is included in the report. For example, Parks & Recreation for the City of Kirkland: Measurements include maintaining parks and recreation programs. The city provides measurements for a five year period. For 2018, the measurement includes the number of full-time staff included in the maintenance department, which is 63.73 FTE. Another measurement is investments in parks and programs. For 2018, the city invested $3,961,000 for park improvements; $5,863,484 for maintenance; $2,807,888 for recreational funding. DO NOT USE THIS EXAMPLE.
• Finally, in two to three sentences, describe the most interesting item or items included in the report. Describe what peaked your interest in these items.
