\fCredit card example from class mate Before I was able to legally drink I was in search for the perfect credit card. I had attempted to buy a laptop from best buy, and was subsequently denied. My credit score was almost non existent. In an effort to avoid future embarrassment I went out to find myself the perfect credit card. What I found was most credit cards also required credit for their services. I ended up picking an American Express card through USAA. My Annual percentage rate is a little high at 13 percent, but I use it similar to a debit card so it is not really a factor. There is also no annual fee associated with this card Additionally the card comes with a few perks. For every dollar I spend I get a point toward their reward program. For every dollar I spend on gas or groceries I receive 2 points. With those points I can redeem them for cash, merchandise, travel, gift cards, or donate them to an organization of my choice. If I chose to redeem my points now I could choice between approximately 500 dollars, various furniture, various jewelry, various electronics, and a plane ticket to nearly anywhere in the United States. Also I was able to achieve the main goal behind getting a credit card, raising my credit score to an appropriate level. USAA also bundled my credit card to my car insurance, car loan, and renter insurance. Because of this I receive additional discounts towards all of the things mentioned. At the end of the day I am very happy with my decision
