Overview:

Demonstrate your ability to identify file signatures for a select group of files that have had their file extensions removed.

Directions:

As part of the exercise, you have been supplied several files within a compressed zip file. The files have no extensions and need to be identified. You many use any hex editor and file signature research site. One excellent site is http://www.garykessler.net/library/file_sigs.html. You must also document your tools, research sites or other methodology used to identify the files.

Identifying the following information for each file:
