Film Scene Analysis: Finding Nemo After venturing too far from the Great Barrier Reef, a young clownfish named Nemo is captured by underwater sea divers and taken to a dentist's office located in Sydney Harbour (Australia). While Marlin ventures off to try to retrieve Nemo, Marlin meets a fish named Dory, a blue tang suffering from short-term memory loss. The companions travel a great distance, encountering various dangerous sea creatures such as sharks, anglerfish and jellyfish, in order to rescue Nemo. Meanwhile, Nemo and the other fish in the tank plan an escape attempting to finally get back into the sea to live their lives free again.

Sample Scene: Escape to the Ocean After arriving in the fish tank, Nemo is invited to participate in a welcoming ritual and is given the nickname Sharkbait. After completing the evening rituals, he is officially welcomed into the group. The scene opens as they immediately make plans and attempt their escape.
