Final Project Assignment $-$ Business Communication

Your final project is to obtain foundation and building blocks for you to provide a recommendation of how to enhance the overall communication within an organization.

Prepare surveys or perform interview with persons within a business organization $($it can be your current organization$)$ to obtain a current state assessment of the success of the organization's communication.$$ This research should include a reasonable data sample for the project as guided by our lessons and for example may include interviews with persons who regularly interviews candidates for employment to know what the organization is looking for in candidates, and$/$or persons who perform performance evaluations of employees to provide insight into how well employees are communicating, and$/$or with teammates who most often receive communication from others to assess how well information is flowing and how, and$/$or members of management to determine their communications goals for the organization and where they feel are doing well and what enhancements are needed.$$ Please be sure to include data from sources across multiple areas of the organization, of different cultures and demographics.

From this data, your goal will be to develop and present a proposal with recommendations for enhancements to the organization's communication.$$ Within the proposal, you should consider the lessons on developing proposals, writing reports, making oral presentations as well as how this might impact job descriptions, job applications and interviewing and employees ultimately succeeding in their job.

Based on the results of your researching evaluating source materials, then proceed through the lessons to determine your planning, composing and revising of your presentation and reporting.$$ Consider your lessons on designing documents and creating effective visuals.$$ Include your thoughts on crafting messages that will need to result as part of the implementation plan for your recommendation as will include crafting informative, positive, negative and persuasive messages.
