Final Project Guide

1. The team will have a project timeline of 7 weeks, beginning from 10-14-20
2. You must use a project timeline app or software to manage your project.
   1. Must be able to track your weekly activities and document progress
3. The team will elect a leader to represent the team
4. The team will come up with a list of agenda items for example:
   1. What API you would use
   2. What programming language you will be using to create or modify the API
5. Will be given at least 45 minutes each class session to work on the project. If more time is needed inform your instructor
6. Agenda/tasks items must
   1. Have a deadline, if the deadline is not achieved it should be document why it was not achieved and what steps need to be taken to achieve it. A new deadline must be set.
   2. Assigned to one or more a team member
   3. Discussed and notes taken at every meeting. This would be uploaded to Canvas on a weekly basis.
7. Weekly updates to the instructor or entire class for 15 20 minutes.
   1. Weekly update must show task/benchmarks status.
8. You must be part of your project
   1. Front end Interface for example a form
   2. Backend database server, that will store the items from the API
   3. You must be able to query the database for items imported into the database
   4. You must be able to generate a report based on the query
9. The following must be part of your presentation
   1. Introduction with team names and their specific tasks
   2. Each team member must present the specific are they were assigned
   3. You must complete a live demo of your project
   4. Challenges in the project
   5. Lesson learned
   6. Conclusion
10. You final presentation will have a minimum of 8 minutes but not more than 12 minutes and must be presented Week 14 or Week 15 ( The Week of December 11^th to the 17^th) of the Fall 2020 semester.
