Final Project: Microsoft Excel Demand Forecasting Project

You will use the File named, "IBUS $1341$ Data Sheet Forecasting Project" for this project. You are give one set of data on inventory your company has bought from suppliers that you have then sold out of over a period of weeks. Please look at Column A$-$ the weeks start over each color$-$ this is because each color $($there are $3)$ requires a different type of forecast $($or does it$?,$ why would it$?$HINT$).$

You will need to look at the last column of data, look at the demand levels and determine the best forecasting method to use. Once you determine that forecast method, please measure your error, then apply a accuracy method. You will then apply a pivot table to your completed data table in what ever way you feel shows you information about your data set $-$ you can move around the boxes the pivot table creates for you and change the data values to understand what it is showing you $($we will discuss in class$).$

I created this data sheet from REAL inventory I used in one of my old inventory analysis workbooks, so you are getting actual experience using real$-$world data of inventory analysis in a practical manner. Please experiment with this data however you see fit.
