Final Research Report Seminar Presentation

The Seminar Presentation is an opportunity for you do an oral presentation about your Research Project$/$Internship$/$Review Report.

Please use the sample PowerPoint template found on the Course Page to guide your presentation $($you can choose your own PPT design$).$

Be prepared to answer questions from your supervisor.

Presentation must be no more than $18$ slides including cover slide. You will have $20$ minutes to present and up to five minutes for questions from your supervisor and peers.

When preparing your presentation, please note the following:

$1.$ Font style must be consistent and readable.

$2.$ Graphs, charts, and tables must be clearly presented.

$3.$ Use visuals $($e$.$g$.,$ images, graphs, pictures$)$ only where they help you to make your point more clearly.

$4.$ Use bullets to guide your presentation $(2-4)$ per slide.

You are expected to use literature to support your points and follow APA $7$ th$.$ ed$.$ Format.

Please refer to the matrix$/$rubric below for information on how your presentation will be graded.

You will have the week of March $24$ to March $30$ for matters regarding the presentation. Your research supervisor will advise on the submission date and when you are expected to make your presentation.

Note that an option is available for you to prepare your presentation in the form of a voice$-$over PowerPoint or as a video and provide access to your supervisor.

Assessment will be graded out of $10.$
