Finally, Step $4$: Measure Success

The team will eventually be successful with the changes made to the process and at that point the team must monitor the process going forward. To do this the team must compare results with expectations to see if we are meeting them or falling behind. One way to do this is with Statistical Process Control tools.

SPC Tool: The team will collect data on the consent completion after the change was enacted. This will be done for $30$ days. The team will plot this data along a center line and determine a normal range defined by an upper control limit and a lower control limit$.$ This will help to monitor the consent process moving forward to determine if variations in the completion rate are common $($within range$)$ or special cause $($out of bounds$).$
