Find a practical decision problem that can be completely or partially formulated as a linear programming problem. The project involves description of the problem, formulation of the problem into a linear programming model, Justifications of the problem as a linear program (explain why the objective function and constraints are linear), testing of the model(s), collection of REAL or approximated DATA, solving of the model(s), validation of the model(s), and interpretation of the results (including sensitivity analysis), and discussion of the limitations of the model(s) in applying to the problem. You may find some existing works similar to your problem. You can modify the existing models to fit in your application. However, you should reference them in the report. It may take several rounds to build your final models. I would like to see how you develop the models.
