f) A slab on grade is needed on the building. Assume the slab is 6'' thick. Calculate the volume of concrete in cubic-yard with 9% waste.
g) Find the labor cost for placing the concrete slab, where the labor productivity cost is 0.60 work hour/cy and bare labor cost is $15.25 per work hour.
h) A wire mesh reinforcement is required for the building floor slab. How many rolls of wire mesh is required to complete the job if the waste factor is 7%?
i) The building has to be built with 8''8''16'' concrete block. The height of the building is 15 feet. Calculate the number of concrete block considering 6% waste.
j) Using 3.2 cubic feet of Mortar per 100 square feet of wall face area, determine the amount of Mortar needed for the concrete block wall calculated in question (i). Consider 35% waste factor.
