First connect the NI USB$-5133$ to computer with the usb cable. Open Measurement and Automation Explorer $($MAX$)$; select$/$expand Devices and Interfaces$>>$NI$-$DAQmx Devices. Right click NI USB$-5133>>$Self Test. Remember the Device Number $($Dev #$)$ If Self Test is passed, go to Test Panel $($right click the device name$).$ Connect a signal $($e$.$g$.$ sine wave from signal generator$),$ to make sure the $5133$ works.
