First, discuss project tasks: Project tasks are actionable items that are to be completed in order for the project to progress. As part of my project for this course, two tasks that will need to be completed are identifying the area SMEs/resources needed and then scheduling time with SMEs and their leaders to discuss time commitments and scope. It could take a few weeks to gather the necessary information to identify the appropriate SMEs however this would be a required step before moving on to the next task of discussing time commitments and scope. Next, discuss project milestones: A project milestone is a checkpoint you reach once a set of tasks have been completed. At a high level it helps you to group tasks and show project progress. With my project being a product launch, some of the milestones would be Project Kick Off, FDA Submission, FDA Approval, Available to Contract, and Go-Live. There are many tasks that take place within each phase listed however each must be completed before the Milestone can be reached.
