First, identify a research question that should be something that doesn't have just a yes or no answer (How does sleep impact college student performance? vs Is sleep important?) and is a psychological question (What therapies are most successful for treating eating disorders? vs What medication best treats schizophrenia?). Most importantly it should be a research question that interests you, is specific (think about specific age groups or circumstances), and you haven't written about before. Next you want to find 3 peer-reviewed psychological research articles that are about a study that was done. Avoid articles that are literature reviews (they compare many research articles on the same topic), those from other countries for concepts that are more culturally-bound, and those more than 10 years old. You likely won't want to choose the first 3 articles that come up in your search but it should be pretty easy to find 3 good articles to help answer your research question. You'll need to include a description annotation for each article. You can find many examples of annotated bibliographies on google but essentially you are summarizing the key points of the study including the results.You'll want to read and understand each article including the introduction, methods, results, and conclusion, and then summarize the essential information. Each one should be a paragraph.
