First, please consider at least three groups you currently belong to, like work, family, and school, for example. Next, imagine you invite a member of one group (like work) to an event with a different group (like a family meal, gathering, celebration, wedding, friends hanging out, etc.) and focus on what the person you invited will not understand on their own - the words, the phrases, the actions, the behaviors, what people say and what they do not say. Imagine you are the guide for the person you invited and discuss at least three examples with what happens, what is said, how it is said, and what it means, so they can understand what is going on. Paint the picture for other students. Describe the setting, scene, people, and event so they imagine it, and focus on those elements the person you invited just wouldn't get - and neither would we as readers - unless you explain it to us.
