First Task for Final Evaluation

Select a free website with a free database, different from the ones presented on the classes, that you believe may be interested to utilise in your future applied research $($hint: the website should have an English page or your work will not be considered valid$).$

Create a PowerPoint presentation $($with $10$ to $15$ pages maximum$)$ explaining how the website can be accessed and the information can be collected and stored.

In the PowerPoint you have to explain why is the website a good source of data and how the three criteria regarding data quality $-$ validity, reliability and generalizability $-$ are met.

The report should be made in groups of a maximum of $3$ students $($copied reports will not be accepted. Please, do not forget I have all the reports made in the last years!$).$

The report is the first of five practical works that the student should make during the continuous evaluation foreseen in the ARIBM curricular unit.

First Task for Final Evaluation

A student that do not makes$/$present the report loses $3($three$)$ points of the final classification $($note: the continuous evaluation worth $60\%$ of the final classification $12$ points$).$

The student would not be able to improve the grade of the report after deliver it$.$ Please, do it carefully!

The submission of the project should me made throughout the ARIBM's IPB$\_$Virtual assignments separator. All students must submit their group assignment. All the rules can be checked in the same separator. Submissions using a different method won't be accepted.

The task will be evaluation considering the relevance of the website in the field of economics and management data, the quality and creativity of the written presentation and the answers given to point $3)$ in these assignment instructions.

Deadline for deliver the report: April $2{?}^{nd},2024(23$:$55=11$:$55$ p$.$m$.).$

No excuses will be accepted if the assignment is not delivered until the deadline.

The presentation should occur on the class of April $5{?}^{th},2024.$
