Firstly you have to identify or create a scenario which has some logical linkages with society. Scenario or topic should include at least three variables (one dependent and other two are independent variables). After the topic selection you are required to collect data which includes at least 30 observations from each company (i.e PSO and Shell or HBL and UBL or Sufi Beryani and Cheri Beryani). After the collection of data you have to analyze your data by applying following statistical tools in Excel:
1) Identify Maximum and Minimum values form the data for each variable.
2) Make a frequency distribution of whole data for all variables and comment on the shape of the distribution.
3) Find the Mean, Median, and Standard deviation from ungroup data for all variables.
4) Find the interval estimate for population Mean and standard deviation of whole data and generalize the sample statistic on population parameters.
5) Draw conclusion by hypothesis testing whether the population mean of all variables is
equal to zero?
6) Draw conclusion by hypothesis testing whether the population mean of one company is equal to the population mean of other company for all variables?

7) Draw conclusion by hypothesis testing whether the population standard deviation of one group is equal to the population standard deviation of other group for all variables?
8) Apply the regression model on whole data and interpret the parameters and coefficient of determination.
