fix it. I will be talking to you today about Child Abuse in the education world. Teachers should need to know that any kind of abuse that is seen or told to them by a student should be reported. Regardless how scared a student is. Being an Educator by law in the TEA code any suspicion of child abuse or neglect should be signs of a student in trouble, there for they need to be reported. The sole purpose of the laws not just in education are put in place to protect our students. We as teachers and assistant teachers are here for the safety and the well-being of the students. While as a teacher we must report any and all concerns we also as teachers need to keep the information that we receive from the students confidential. The only other people that should know about the information between student and teacher is the principle and the investigator. The educator need to know that we have a responsibility to ensure that students are safe. That mean taking the necessary actions whey they suspect child abuse. Having the students trust is what will keep students safe
