Using AASHTO flexible design procedure, design a pavement for a $2$ lane$/$direction principal arterial

road.

Expected $30$ years total design ESAL is $20{10}^6.$

Pavement structure is to consist of:

asphalt concrete with an elastic modulus of $450,{000}_{?}$ psi

granular base with an elastic modulus of $22,{000}_{},$

granular subbase with an elastic modulus of $10,{000}_{}.$

The elastic modulus of the subgrade is $7,{000}_{}.$

It is estimated that it will take about one day for water to drain from the pavement and that

pavement will be saturated about $3\%$ of the time.
