Flowers Official Ltd$.($Flowers$)$ is an Alberta company that provides subscription flower services throughout Alberta and Canada. Their mission statement is $"$To make life beautiful every day, consistently. They provide a flower subscription service to businesses who want fresh flowers throughout their locations, stores and offices. Their best subscription product is the weekly delivery service for $$100$ per arrangement.

Slay Beauty Supplies Ltd$.($Slay$)$ is a two person beauty supply company that is trying to break into the luxury market. As such, they contacted Flowers to supply them with weekly fresh deliveries of $5$ arrangements around their offices and stores amounting to $$500$ worth of flowers per week. The only condition is that they do not supply any types of ferns as one of the owners of Slay, Lucette Kady, is extremely allergic to ferns and will require hospitalization if they are in the space.

On June $2,$ flowers were delivered to Slay head office. These were the $10$th order from Flowers. Unfortunately the arrangements this week had a large Boston Fern in the center causing Lucette's airway to close, she could not breathe and requiring a week of hospitalization and a month of lost work, costing Lucette $$50,000$ and the business $$20,000.$

Lucette contacted Flowers a week after she got out of hospital and advised what happened. Flowers feels bad and knows that some people do have horrible allergies to some flowers and plants, but this was their first issue.

Put yourself in Flower's position and go through the forms of Risk Management $($Avoidance$,$ Reduction and Acceptance$)$ and advise how they can deal with this matter to deal with the Risk of allergies in customers in the future.

Put yourself in Slay and Lucette's shoes. Go through the test of negligence and determine whether Flowers could be found liable under negligence. Why or Why not?
