Focus on clearly explaining a specific concept from the first three chapters of our text. This first paper, focus on a precise analysis of one concept. There are already two good ones: traces and mid-range theories. What is a 'trace?' What are 'mid-range theories?' What is the relationship between the two? What are some of the examples Currie has given us thus far that help us understand the relationship between these two concepts? What might be some of the limitations of traces and mid-range theories? Having these concepts crystallized will be critical to our analysis of the material we cover later in the text. The mini-paper should be 3 pages, citation guide of your choosing. Given that this is the only text covering in class, the only real citation need to provide is a page number.
