Do you use social media? or you are amongst those who get consumed by it? confused? let me explain. when you start consuming more and more information (posts, videos etc) on social media and its a daily habit and it becomes more of an addiction, there are a number of bad things that happen to you but i just want to focus on one which i believe is the worst of all planting the seed of ingratitude in you. now why is that? simply because when you consume too much, your mind is only occupied with stuff that people are doing. and since its a virtual world where you see only what people want you to see about them, so you start seeing perfect and ideal lives. and this shifts your focus from what you have to what you dont have the root cause of ingratitude. and as i say and keep saying that once this seed is planted and gets watered by constant habitual usage of social media and other such stuff going on in life where you are obsessed with comparing yourself with people who have more than you or you think they have a perfect life, this gives rise to all sorts of spiritual diseases and not only that but disturbs your mental health. since we all know that when mental health is disturbed it does not only confine itself to mental wellbeing rather it affects our physical health too. so untamed use of social media results in poor mental and physical health and worst spiritual being.
