For Chapter 9, some topics you could research are (these are suggestions only, you can post research findings on any topic related to performance management):

- EI is an interesting topic. You could research what the application process is for EI, eligibility criteria for EI, cases where you'd be denied, how much we pay into EI and how much the employer pays, and much more.

- Pay on termination of employment is also interesting. How much does an employer have to pay you? What are some key differences between provinces?

- Leaves of absence: what kind of leaves are required by law to give your employees? What are some key differences between provinces?

- Vacation pay: what is the minimum requirement for vacation pay in BC? How does Canada compare to other countries in the world? (Hint - it's super interesting to see how much vacation European countries get. Go check it out!)
